"a home away from home"

Siva, Siva, Siva.......

The ROKSA Revue we know today was originally comprised of young children and teenagers from the Samoan community in the Yongsan area.  This group was first established in May 2004 as they premiered their dance talents at the first Aganu'u Show in celebration of Asian/Pacific month of May for the Yongsan community.

Since the first Aganu'u Samoa, there was definitely a need to maintain a group of dancers and a running list of dances.  ROKSA was fortunate to have several young folks participate as performers for a variety of events and shows.  At one point, ROKSA performers became well-known in the community and were asked to perform by name.  ROKSA performers have danced for Asian/Pacific events, unit organizational events, and even requested by LTG David Valcourt's staff to perform at his welcoming dinner.  Although many of the photos you will see in this clip are not representative of ALL the events the dancers participated but it does highlight a few.
