Republic of Korea Samoa Association

"a home away from home"

Fa'amolemole....

Thank you for signing our guestbook.

ROKSA is utilizing the honor system in allowing comments to be submitted and posted dynamically.  Comments carrying questionable motives or distasteful tones will be removed because they violate ROKSA's philosophy of promoting the spirit of goodness, alofa, honor and respect for one another.

ROKSA was established and maintained by a great mix of talented Samoans who enjoy taking care of Samoan service members stationed in the Republic of Korea.  This site was created to validate that objective and for families and friends of these service members to witness ROKSA's pledge to serve.

Again, please honor our request to post your comments with respect for our fellow Samoan sisters and brothers.

Respectfully,

ROKSA Web Administrator

Happy New Year - 2008!

To our regular visitors and newcomers,

Thank your for always stopping by to visit this site and to share your thoughts.  As an update on the status of ROKSA especially for our newcomers, ROKSA officially closed its doors as a private organization this past fiscal year after the departure of key folks.  Although a decision was never reached and/or finalized by the folks remaining in country to continue ROKSA, its existence will continue on the Internet.  The doors may have closed officially in Korea but ROKSA continues to live in many who have departed to other duty stations.  Instilled in them is the importance of practicing our culture as Samoans especially living a long ways from home, remembering our families but especially our elderly family members and finally, keeping God and His word in front at all times.

Thank you for sharing our memories by visiting this site.
