Welcome, the Republic of Korea Samoa Association (ROKSA) was founded on the spirit of love and respect for Samoans stationed in the Republic of Korea (ROK) in order to provide a “home away from home” for Samoans.  ROKSA is our contribution of love for Samoa and all your sons and daughters on the peninsula because resources are limited outside of Samoa to promote the ‘Samoan way of life”.

Let me take this opportunity to thank all those who have started ROKSA as a chartered non-profit organization in Yongsan Army Garrison, Seoul, South Korea; (President, CSM Tuileama Nua, Vice President, Ms Tumau Alefosio, Secretary CPT Alaimaleata, Leuila; Treasurer, Ms Jackie Taua Gibbons); We can not forget CSM (RET) Tom Bruce, (Public Relation chair) and Ms Anita Nua (Fundraising chair) for their unwavering support.  Special thanks to Ms Sinaoalii Easter Vaueli Bruce for creating ROKSA’s website.  I know there  are plenty of others who have contributed to the success of ROKSA as the list is long and too numerous to mention so instead I pray earnestly for the Lord’s blessing to be upon each and every one of you.

The opinions expressed in this website are those of the ROKSA’s Executive Board. At no time have we intentionally violated copyright laws, if there is an oversight, I apologize.  I hope that the benefits outweigh the shortcomings in our efforts to showcase our love and respect for Samoans stationed in the Republic of Korea.

MAJOR Tauapai Laupola

President, ROKSA

2005 - 2007
